The practical bits As you work shifts, it is difficult to set out your normal working hours and these will be confirmed in a rota. Generally, you’ll work 27 hour one week and 36 hours the next week and these hours will be allocated between Monday and Sunday. The rota might need to be changed based on the needs of customers and the business but don’t worry, we’ll give you plenty of notice (up to 4 weeks) if we need to change this. These hours are the hours you are busy working, so they don’t include your lunch breaks. You may also be entitled to an unpaid break in accordance with your shift duration. Responsibilities

The Support Worker will be responsible for taking charge during Waking Nights, ensuring operations run smoothly while others sleep. This includes supporting customers with daily tasks related to Adult Social Care Needs, encouraging their independence, and fostering a safe, respectful environment.
