We are looking for candidates to provide a variety of services all designed to help sustain the tenancies of the individuals that we support.

Responsibilities

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Service Delivery

To be responsible for the effective delivery of high quality housing support and resettlement services for homeless people

  • Resource Management

To be responsible for the effective utilisation of a range of accommodation options, with a focus on resettling people from supported accommodation into permanent accommodation.

  • Casework Management

To work with clients ensuring provision of advice, support, motivation, crisis intervention and future planning, is appropriate to the expressed needs of service users

  • Organisational Responsibilities

To be responsible for contributing to the running of Willow Housing integrated services for homeless people.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

Support Workers will be required to carry out risk assessments and create support plans for each tenant in their case load. Support Workers will carry out weekly supervision sessions with the tenants to ensure they are able to manage their tenancy effectively. The support sessions involve a number of services including:

  • Financial Budgeting
  • Assistance with GP registration
  • Signposting for drugs and alcohol support
  • Accommodation search (Long Term Accommodation)
  • Access to education provision
  • Overcoming employability issues
  • Avoiding rent arrears.
  • Reducing anti-social behaviour

Training is provided for the role.
Ideally must have experience working within Mental Health & it is essential to understand the importance of paperwork.
Must Have a Full UK driving Licence and Access to Your Own Vehicle
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Temp to perm
Pay: £12.21-£13.50 per hour
