Support Worker (Independent Contractor)

Little Miss Bizzy is currently seeking an experienced, reliable and compassionate Independent Support Worker to join our team to support a 19-year-old participant with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a positive difference and has experience supporting young adults to build independence, confidence and life skills.

About the Role

• Casual/Contractor position
• 2–3 shifts per week
• 3–4 hour shifts
• Location: Doolandella, QLD
• Immediate start available

Support Includes

Essential Requirements

Applicants must have:

• ABN (Australian Business Number)
• Current Public Liability Insurance (and Professional Indemnity Insurance if applicable)
• Current Blue Card
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card)
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
• Current Australian Driver Licence and reliable, insured vehicle
• Comprehensive Car Insurance
• Current National Police Check
• Excellent communication skills
• Professional, reliable and compassionate approach

Experience Required

Applicants must have significant experience supporting participants with:

• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• ADHD
• Challenging behaviours (if applicable)
• Emotional regulation
• Capacity building and promoting independence
