We're looking for experienced and reliable Support Workers to join our team supporting a male participant in a SIL home in Donnybrook, VIC.

This is a 1:3 SIL support environment, providing person-centred support to participants with complex behavioural support needs.

This role requires skilled support workers who can provide safe, consistent and person-centered support while fostering a positive and structured living environment.

About the role

The role involves supporting:

• Participants with complex behavioral support needs
• Daily living activities and promoting independence
• Implementation of Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs)
• Building positive routines and structured supports
• Incident reporting and accurate documentation
• Community participation and skill development
• Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Maintaining a safe, respectful and supportive home environment

What we're looking for

We're seeking Support Workers who are:

• Experienced supporting people with complex behaviors and high support needs
• Confident implementing Behavior Support Plans and responding appropriately during challenging situations
• Calm, patient and proactive in their approach
• Experienced in SIL, residential disability services, mental health, or similar support environments
• Strong communicators with excellent documentation skills
• Reliable team players who can provide consistent support
• Person-centered and committed to promoting participant choice, dignity and independence
• Able to maintain professional boundaries while building positive relationships
• Essential RequirementsExperience supporting participants with complex behaviors
• Relevant Disability Support, Individual Support, Community Services or equivalent qualifications and/or demonstrated experience
• Current P2 or open’s driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
• Working with Children’s Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain
• First Aid and CPR, or willingness to obtain
• The right to work in Australia
