WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for an experienced support worker who would prioritise participants’ engagement and well-being while supporting them within the community and in their own homes.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Confident in delivering supports to participants with high physical needs
• Experience in Manual Handling
• Experience in Stromal Bag Care
• Experience with Bowel Care

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum 1 year of experience working as a support worker.

• Hold a Certificate IV in Disability or Individual Support or equivalent at a minimum.
• Compassionate, caring attitude and proven ability to provide direct care services with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills – able to complete, read and understand standard documentation.
