Support Care Worker – Hopleys House
Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of adults with complex needs? At Hopleys House, we’re looking for a dedicated Support Care Worker who can bring compassion, resilience, and professionalism to our team.
This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviours, who understands the importance of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and can self-regulate in emotionally demanding situations. You’ll be a key part of a team that delivers safe, person-centred care while promoting dignity, independence, and choice.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, compassionate care tailored to each resident’s needs and PBS plans
  • Support individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and behaviours that challenge
  • Maintain emotional awareness and self-regulation to ensure safe and respectful support
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure consistent, person-centred care
  • Follow care plans and risk assessments, ensuring documentation is accurate and current
  • Assist with daily routines, medication administration, and safeguarding practices
  • Promote infection control and safe working procedures throughout the home
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and professionals
  • Contribute to care reviews, audits, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Uphold a supportive and inclusive environment that values each resident’s voice
