Job Advertisement: Casual Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated casual female Support Worker to provide personal care and assist with full domestic duties for an independent male quadriplegic in the northern suburbs.

Position Details:

• Availability: Must be able to cover a range of shifts, including overnight, day shifts, and weekends as required.
• Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care assistance (including bowel care)
  • Complete full range of domestic duties including cleaning, cooking, laundry, ironing and other household tasks
  • Drive an automatic vehicle

Candidate Requirements:

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work within a team environment
• Proficient in English with excellent communication skills
• Ability to step in and support other team members during their leave
• No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided with buddy support
• Preference will be given to female candidates residing in the northern suburbs

Remuneration:

• Competitive pay rates to be discussed during the interview
• Superannuation at 12%
