We are seeking compassionate and experienced Support Workers to join our team in Dubbo to provide 1:1 support for a participant with complex psychosocial needs in a 24/7 roster.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This role involves supporting a participant in daily living, personal care, community access, and implementing behaviour support strategies while adhering to restrictive practices and safety plans.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide 1:1 active support, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication assistance.
• Support the participant in engaging in social and community activities.
• Follow behaviour support plans and restrictive practices (e.g., removal of sharps, restricted access to chemicals/technology, locked cupboards).
• Maintain a safe environment, including supporting locked fences and controlled access.
• Assist with therapy exercises and mobility support.
• Complete shift notes and incident reports accurately.
