Our organisation is currently seeking an experienced Health Care Support Worker with minimum of six months working in the UK health sector. The applicant must live locally and be ready for immediate start. The worker will be responsible for overseeing the safety, compliance and overall well-being of our Client at all times. The right candidate is someone who has a genuine passion for care and enjoys working in a close-knit team environment.
Job Description:
Support individuals with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores. Encourage and assist with participation in social, educational, and recreational activities. Promote independence while respecting personal preferences and choices. Build positive, trusting relationships with clients. Offer companionship and emotional reassurance. Support clients to engage with their communities and maintain social networks. Assist with medication administration in line with policies and training. Monitor and report changes in health or behaviour to the appropriate manager. Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all clients. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including care notes and incident reports. Communicate effectively with clients, families, colleagues, and healthcare professionals. Respect confidentiality and comply with GDPR requirements. Work in accordance with Care standards. Follow safeguarding procedures and report concerns immediately. Adhere to health and safety policies and infection control measures.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Zero hours contract
Pay: £12.00-£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
