OVERVIEW

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in home care settings, ensuring their comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a good command of English, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. A driving licence is preferred, as you may be required to travel between locations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact empathetically with residents and their families.
• Basic IT skills for record-keeping and communication purposes.
• A valid driving licence is preferred for travel between locations.
• Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated to provide high-quality care.

Work Location: On the roa

• Assist service users with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
• Support the development and implementation of individual care plans tailored to each resident’s needs.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents’ conditions to the healthcare team.
• Foster a supportive environment by engaging residents in social activities and promoting their independence.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety within the care environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes effectively.
