Job Title: Support Worker
Location: Garstang
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 18 hours over two days
Salary: £13.00 per hour

REQUIREMENTS

· Aged 18 or over
· Right to work in the UK
· Able to complete an Enhanced DBS (Criminal Record Check)
· Full UK Driving Licence – Desired
· Able to work day and night shifts, including weekends and bank holidays

ABOUT THE ROLE

Come and join our fantastic team here at Cedar Health and Wellbeing. We’re currently recruiting motivated, positive and compassionate individuals to join our Outreach Service in Garstang, supporting a young male adult with Autism, Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs in his own home.
This role is ideal for someone who can use their initiative, think creatively, and take a proactive, outcome-focused approach. Whether you’re new to care or already experienced, you’ll receive full training and ongoing support to grow in your role and progress your career with us.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide personal care in a respectful and dignified manner
  • Assist with mobility, dressing, bathing, and grooming as needed
  • Support the client with daily routines and activities
  • Maintain clear and respectful communication with the client and team members

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

· Provide high-quality care and support to individuals with autism and/or learning disabilities in a residential setting
· Deliver personalised support as outlined in each individual’s bespoke plan
· Encourage choice, control, and independence in all aspects of daily life
· Support the development of life skills and community inclusion
· Promote health, wellbeing, and safety at all times
· Build strong, respectful relationships with the people you support
