There are no personal care responsibilities, but we’re looking for people who can support her across all areas of daily life.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

You’ll be part of a dedicated support team helping our client thrive in her new home and in the community. Your role will focus on rehabilitation, developing independent living skills, and enhancing communication—all while empowering her to live life to the fullest.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide support in meeting rehabilitation goals alongside treating therapists.
  • Prompts for personal care.
  • Support client with household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and shopping.
  • Assist with medication administration and attend health appointments as required.
  • Encourage and support clients to engage in community, social, and recreational activities.
  • Promote independence and support clients in developing life skills.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided.
  • Follow individual care and support plans and report any changes or concerns to supervisors.
  • Uphold dignity, respect, and confidentiality at all times.
