  • The willingness to register with SSSC
  • Good written and spoken English

Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

We are currently looking for new Full Time Support Workers to join our Stirling team to provide high-quality person-centred care at home service.
You will work as part of the team ensuring a high quality care and support with a focus on maximising the independent living skills of older people and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for the service users.
Hours of employment: minimum of 40 hours per week, with shifts organised on a rota basis. We provide flexible working patterns.
If you are invited to attend an interview, we will discuss your availability, however, the shifts you are likely to be expected to work are:
7:00am – 2:00pm, including a 30 minutes break
4:00pm – 10:00pm, including a 30 minutes dinner break

ROLE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

  • Permission to work in the UK
  • Awareness of the needs and rights of older people in a care at home setting
  • Ability to provide one to one care - to provide care and support so enabling a service user to feel valued and respected as an individual
  • Ability to work without continual supervision
  • Genuine interest in, and, an open flexible approach to, the promotion of excellent standards of care for older people
  • Ability to work over a shift rota including days, evenings and weekends
