We are expanding our team and looking for experienced Disability Support Workers who have worked with individuals diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease.
REQUIREMENTS:
✔ Minimum Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or Aged Care (or equivalent).
✔ Previous experience supporting individuals with Parkinson’s Disease (essential).
✔ Knowledge of mobility aids, fall prevention strategies, and Parkinson’s-related care needs.
✔ NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain).
✔ First Aid & CPR Certification (or willing to obtain).
✔ Manual Handling, Medication Administration, and Parkinson’s Disease-specific training (preferred).
✔ Driver’s License and access to a reliable, insured vehicle (preferred but not essential).
✔ Strong communication, patience, and a person-centered approach.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide safe and reliable school and allied health transportation for our client, ensuring punctuality, comfort, and dignity throughout the journey. Your responsibilities will include assisting our client in and out of the vehicle, maintaining a respectful and supportive environment during transit, and keeping your vehicle clean, well-maintained, and compliant with safety standards. You will also adhere to NDIS compliance, safety policies, and person-centered care principles.
