JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in a care home or senior care setting, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to implement care plans and assist with daily activities, fostering a supportive environment for our residents.

EXPERIENCE

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support residents in daily living activities such as meal preparation, feeding, and mobility assistance.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare staff to ensure the highest standard of care.
  • Help maintain accurate records of resident care and progress as per care plans.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individual care plans.
  • Supervise and lead junior staff or volunteers when required, promoting a collaborative team environment.
  • Drive to various locations if necessary for patient appointments or community activities (where applicable).
  • Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes.
