We are looking for a team of four female support workers, (this is due to service users’ preference) who can work as part of a team as well as on their own. We are looking for support workers preferably with experience, but this is not essential as training can be given.
You will be working on a two to one ratio and single handed for parts of the day and the sleep nights will be on a one-to-one basis as the service user sleeps during the night.
Due to location, you will need to be a car driver.
You will be working in Shaldon, Teignmouth.
This will initially be working with one lady who has severe cerebral palsy and learning disabilities. She will require support with all aspects of personal care, support with eating and drinking, medication and support with mobility. You will be required to support with appointments and trips out.
The service user lives with her sister who has recently had a stroke, it is expected that she will require to be part of the care and support package.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

Due to location access to a vehicle is required.
Available to work early mornings, late evenings sleeping nights and weekends.
To cover for sickness and holidays.
To be comfortable supporting with personal care tasks.

Pay: £17,896.68-£29,096.25 per year
Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
