DESCRIPTION

Kingsmead Cluster are three houses based in Lambeth which provide a 24-hours specialist accommodation-based supported living service for adults aged 18-65 (but predominantly over 55 years of age) with a diagnosed mental illness and/or primary mental health needs and with a range of dual needs impacting upon well-being, support need and risk.

• Support Service Users to maintain good mental health and maximise recovery outcomes to maintain independent lives, through culturally appropriate person-led service provision
• Support Service Users to prevent tenancy breakdown and loss of accommodation and to be integrated members of their communities.
• Partnership working with relevant agencies, in particular Living Well Centres (LWCs) and other mental health professionals.
• Provide an environment where all individuals within the nine (9) protected characteristics in the Equality Act 2010, feel safe, secure, and protected from avoidable harm.
• Promoting independence and enabling Service Users to live as independently as possible
