We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to provide specialized care to a gentleman with Usher Syndrome. This role will involve assisting with daily activities and providing crucial support for someone who is both deaf and blind, requiring Tactile Deafblind interpreting.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience or understanding of working with individuals who are deaf and blind, particularly with Usher Syndrome.
• Skilled in Tactile Deafblind interpreting or willingness to learn.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to the client’s specific needs.
• First Aid and CPR certification (or willing to obtain).
• NDIS Worker Screening Check.
