We are looking for caring, reliable and passionate Disability Support Workers to join our team across Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast.

About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will support NDIS participants to live independently, achieve their goals and participate meaningfully in their community.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing person-centred support based on individual needs and preferences
• Assisting participants with daily living and personal care activities
• Supporting community access and social participation
• Assisting with meal preparation, household tasks and shopping
• Supporting participants to attend appointments and activities
• Encouraging independence and supporting individual goals
• Building positive and respectful relationships with participants
• Following individual support plans and workplace procedures
• Completing required documentation and shift notes
• Maintaining participant dignity, privacy, choice and independence
• Working collaboratively with participants, families and other support professionals

About You

Previous disability or aged care experience is highly regarded.

Essential Requirements

• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid & CPR certification
• Relevant disability support qualification, such as Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent
• Australian working rights
• Reliable transport and a current driver's licence
• Ability to travel to participant locations as required

Support Workers Wanted – Personal Care & Community Access

Pinnacle Support Services – Mandurah & Surrounding Areas

Are you a compassionate and reliable support worker looking to make a real difference in people’s lives?

Pinnacle Support Services is expanding our team and seeking Qualified, experienced, and person-centred support workers to provide high-quality care to our NDIS participants.

About the Role

You will provide one-on-one and community-based support to individuals living with disability. Duties include:

• Assisting with manual handling and personal care (Minimum cert 3 to do showering)
• Providing community access and transport to appointments, social outings, and activities
• Supporting clients to achieve their goals and independence
• Completing progress notes and maintaining professional communication with the team
• Mental health experience
• Autism and Intellectual disability experience

What We’re Looking For

• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or Community Services
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Mandatory)
• Working with Children Check (WA) (Mandatory)
• First Aid & CPR Certification
• Manual Handling Training (current or willing to obtain)
• Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable, insured vehicle (Mandatory)
• A caring, respectful, and professional attitude
• Medication certificate
• infection control
