Support Workers – RIDSAS & Supported Living Dunedin | Ōtepoti Due to continued growth in our services, Community Care Trust Aotearoa is recruiting Support Workers to join our RIDSAS Service (Regional Intellectual Disability Supported Accommodation Service) and Supported Living (SL) Services in Dunedin. We are recruiting Full-Time, Part-time and Casual Opportunities across a wide variety of services, including our Male Only Services. Our services operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and availability for at least one weekend shift is essential for these roles. About the role | He kōrero whakamārama mō tēnei tūranga As a Support Worker you will build meaningful relationships and support people to develop life skills, achieve their goals, and connect with their communities. Our approach is person-centred and strengths-based, recognising that behaviour is a form of communication and requires compassion, patience and trauma-informed practices. We are looking for people who are calm, resilient, non-judgemental and solutions-focused, with a genuine interest in supporting others to build confidence, independence and positive life outcomes. Our Supported Living Services provides people with Autism and or an Intellectual Disability with 24/7 support. Supported Living supports people to live as independently as possible in their communities. Our RIDSAS service provides 24/7 specialist rehabilitation support for people with Intellectual Disabilities who have high and complex needs and who have had contact with the judicial system.
