As a Senior Supportability Manager, you will lead a team that is pivotal to anticipate, understand and solve product or supportability issues and drive a great Microsoft customer support experience. You will partner with Engineering Leaders and other senior product experts across the company to identify opportunities to improve Microsoft products and enable teams to envision & create self-serve capabilities, diagnostic tools and automation capabilities. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 8+ years related work experience (e.g., technical/customer services, technical/customer support, business process operations, product development/management, product marketing, business or product strategy, technical consulting, data analysis)
  • OR Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Social Science, Marketing, Communications, Accounting, Sales, or related field AND 5+ years related work experience (e.g., technical/customer services, technical/customer support, business process operations, product development/management, product marketing, business or product strategy, technical consulting, data analysis)
  • OR Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), Business, Social Science, Marketing, Communications, Accounting, Sales, or related field AND 4+ years related work experience (e.g., technical/customer services, technical/customer support, business process operations, product development/management, product marketing, business or product strategy, technical consulting, data analysis).

ADDITIONAL OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of people management and business leadership experience
  • 5+ years program management or technical program management experience, managing remote and globally distributed project teams
  • 5+ years of experience driving engineer readiness and/or product quality investments.
  • Experience with Cloud Security, Malware landscape, and/or Incident Response preferred.
  • Experience with PowerBI, SQL and/or Kusto (data explorer) Query language preferred.
  • Engineering and Marketing teams.
  • Ability to navigate and influence in a matrixed organization.
    Supportability M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.
