Permanent Reliever (Support Worker) Dunedin (Ōtepoti) Full time role for our Dunedin Supported Living Service We are delighted to be seeking a full-time Permanent Reliever Support Worker to join our Supported Living team based in Dunedin. About the role | He kōrero whakamārama mō tēnei tūranga As a Permanent Reliever Support Worker in our Supported Living services you will be available for full time hours with the flexibility to cover all shifts on a rotating roster and when regular staff are not available. This environment will assist individuals to develop practical life skills including, household tasks, meeting education/vocational needs, cultural awareness, community activities and participation, building positive relationships with whanau and peers, and everyday problem solving and coping strategies. A natural ability to relate to other and build rapport with people we support and other team members is essential along with a strong desire to make a positive difference. In this role you will be rewarded with 5 weeks annual leave and an hourly rate of $29.10. What you will bring | Ngā tohunga mō tēnei tūranga A proactive and person-centred approach to support. Willingness to complete Health and Wellbeing training and qualifications Have a positive, can do attitude and a great work ethic. Eligibility to work in New Zealand and have a valid visa with a minimum of 12 months until expiry. Hold a FULL, clean New Zealand Driver License (Essential) Hold a current First Aid Certificate (or be willing to complete one at our cost) We also have some part time and casual roles available within our Supported Living Services.
