Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the day to day running of the service, working in partnership with the Assistant Manager/Deputies and support workers at the site.
The main purpose of the job is to supervise and manage a team as well as ensuring people we support are as involved as possible in every part of their day to day lives so that they can be full and active members of society. To safely promote and encourage independence, choice, equal opportunity and community inclusion, is integral to our ethos and all those we support in our supported living services.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Preferably NVQ Level 4 or 5 Health & Social Care Diploma, or equivalent, or Minimum of 2 years’ managerial experience in a Supported Living, Residential Care, or Domiciliary Care setting.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the Care Industry and surrounding regulations and relevant legislation, e.g. CQC Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOEs) and regulatory standards.
  • Proven track record in safeguarding adults at risk.
  • Experience of managing a delegated budget.
  • Experience of leading, motivating, supervising and line managing team members in accordance with policy and legislation; including management of Deputy Managers/Seniors/Support Staff.
  • Full UK driving licence (own car preferred, pool cars available).
