Responsibilities

THE ROLE OF SUPPORTED LIVING MANAGER

Due to growth within Prayngel Healthcare Limited, we’re seeking a proactive, compassionate Supported Living Manager to lead our dedicated team in the newly created role. This may suit someone who has a soldi care background and looking for their first step into management. You will be starting off with supporting the team with two young people we support. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations, high standards of care, and compliance with regulatory and organisational frameworks.
As the Supported Living Manager, you will oversee all aspects of daily service delivery. You’ll foster an environment where staff are fully trained, supported, and inspired to deliver person centred care to young adults with complex needs during their transition into adult services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and support care teams, including hiring, supervision, performance review, and ensuring mandatory training is up to date.
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and regular review of individualised support and risk plans tailored to each young person.
  • Monitor and enhance service quality through audits, feedback systems, and evidence based practice.
  • Address and resolve concerns or complaints sensitively and efficiently, working towards positive resolutions.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, health, social care, education, housing, and commissioners, to support smooth transition planning.
  • Promote an inclusive and well-supported workplace, nurturing staff engagement, wellbeing, and professional growth.
  • Track and report service performance, identifying improvement opportunities and leading initiatives to deliver them.
  • Keep current with sector-wide changes: legislation, best-practice standards, safeguarding requirements, and developmental guidance.
