Responsibilities

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A CUSTOMER SERVICE ROLE AND DOES NOT TYPICALLY INVOLVE WORKING DIRECTLY WITH CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE.

The Children’s Society has been helping children and young people in this country for over 140 years. We run local services that support children when they are at their most vulnerable and in desperate need of help. We’re there for children, every step of the way.
This role sits within our busy but friendly Supporter Care Team, part of our Social Impact Domain. We process and thank donations received, open and bank post, answer questions for supporters and members of the public via channels such as over the telephone, email and via social media and work closely with colleagues all over the organisation to deliver our charitable aims.
This is an ideal job for someone who is passionate about customer service and helping our charity engage with our supporters – you may be someone wanting to start their career in in the sector, or someone who is an established professional in this space, wanting to work in a busy team for a great organisation’.
We are currently looking for a team orientated, friendly and kind person to join our dynamic, ambitious team.
A key part of this role will be your ability to work with supporters, members of the public and colleagues as part of a busy customer service environment.
