Closing Date: Tuesday 11th November 2025 Job Title: Supporter Relations Executive Reports to: Supporter Relations Lead Salary: Scale 4, Point 23, £24,570 per annum, pro rata Hours of work: Full Time (37.5 hours per week) Flexibility required to meet needs of the service. At St Basils, we are dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Purpose of the Role: St Basils works with young people aged 16-25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, to enable them to find and keep a home, grow in confidence, develop their skills, increase opportunities, and prevent homelessness. We provide a range of homeless prevention services such as housing advice, family mediation, access to learning, skills and employment and provide supported accommodation with over 650 bed spaces across the West Midlands. The aim of St Basils is to help young people who need us to successfully break the ‘cycle of homelessness’ so that they can go on to experience a bright, fulfilling future and never return to a state where they are at risk of homelessness again. The Supporter Relations Executive will work closely with the Supporter Relations Lead (SRL), forming the Supporter Relations Team (SRT) which acts as a dynamic link between the wider fundraising team, other areas of the organisation, and external supporters. The SRT oversees the collection and recording of supporter and donation information, extracting key insights to assist in the wider fundraising objectives of the fundraising department. As Supporter Relations Executive you will liaise with colleagues to ensure that acknowledgments and communications with supporters are timely, personalised and relevant. You will also collaborate with the+ SRL to develop and implement strategies and processes surrounding data collection, supporter engagement and fundraising strategy. Key Responsibilities: To work with the Supporter Relations Lead to make sure all fundraising activities and data retention is GDPR Process donations in a timely manner, liaising with the Supporter Relations Lead and finance department when any queries arise. Work with the Supporter Relations Lead and wider fundraising department to ensure personalised acknowledgements are sent in a timely manner which also foster a sense of continuity for the supporter. Utilise the CRM Gift Aid function to submit regular Gift Aid claims. Maintain CRM records on an ad-hoc basis to ensure information is up to date and records are uniform and consistent. Assist the Supporter Relations Lead with regular donation reconciliation to ensure accurate records and financial compliance. Assist the Supporter Relations Lead with Gift Aid audits to ensure claim and declaration compliance. Provide general assistance when needed in relation to stewardship and database management. Assist the Supporter Relations Lead with simple reporting. To attend some fundraising events on behalf of the department where appropriate. Any other duties consistent with the above, and any other relevant duties required as the job develops including working out of office hours when required. Objectively review the success and achievements against agreed targets, identifying strengths, weaknesses and areas for development. To work with the Supporter Relations Lead to make sure all fundraising activities and data retention is GDPR compliant. QUALIFICATION: Essential: Maths & English GCSE Grade C or Above. Desirable: Other equivalent qualifications ROLE EXPERIENCE Essential: Good office experience in administration and data processing. A good standard of business English and Maths. Desirable: Experience in the charity sector, either voluntary or paid. Experience with written and verbal communication with customers or stakeholders at different levels. Experience using CRM systems, particularly Beacon CRM. KNOWLEDGE Essential Sound experience and knowledge of IT systems including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Understanding of UK GDPR. Desirable: Understanding of youth homelessness or related social issues.
