About the role: The Supportive Housing Worker position will report to the Housing Coordinator or their designate who in turn will report to their Department Director. The Supportive Housing Worker, under the management of the Housing Coordinator, will undertake the objectives of Rita Thompson Enhanced Supportive Housing, building community, working with marginalized population. The Supportive Housing Worker position is a foundational role that ensures the daily and weekly routines of the enhanced housing program are maintained while supporting clients in meeting their basic needs (physical, emotional and mental health) working collaboratively with the case management team. Supportive Housing Worker are responsible for providing trauma – informed standards of care for the community.   As the successful candidate, you have:  * Two (2) to five (5) years of experience in the homelessness and supportive housing sector * Knowledge of the Housing First approach to homelessness, Ontario Land-Lord Tenant Act, SPDAT Assessment, and HIFIS * Ability to coordinate on-site activity related functions through a gender- and trauma-responsive framework * A strong commitment to supporting all residents, from various backgrounds and cultural ethnicities * Excellent people skills to facilitate relationships with clients, colleagues, supervisors, program partners and community members * A willingness to work in collaboration with a wide variety of community partners, agencies and emergency services You’ll also be prepared to demonstrate skills in: * Crisis Prevention, Conflict Resolution, Boundary Setting & Intervention * Building Positive Relationships in the Community * Documentation & Reporting * Supporting Case Management goals (incl.
