Hours: Monday Friday, 06:00am 16:00pm
Location: London / South / South East
Salary Range: From £32,000 depending on experience
Contract type: Permanent

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Were seeking someone who is:

• Experienced in Ansul R102 systems or from a mechanical engineering background (full training provided for the right candidate).
• Flexible with working hours, including nights and weekends as required
• Willing to travel and stay away from home when needed
• In possession of a full, clean UK driving licence

KEY SKILLS:

• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently
• Good basic computer skills (Word and Excel)

Are you a hands-on, mechanically minded professional looking to take the next step in your career? Were on the lookout for a Kitchen Suppression Engineer to join our team, specialising in Ansul R102 kitchen suppression systems. This is a dynamic, field-based role that involves routine maintenance, remedial work, and installation at client premises across the UK.
Due to the nature of the position, some out-of-hours work and overnight stays may be required.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a Kitchen Suppression Engineer, you will:

• Service, maintain, and test Ansul R102 systems
• Install new and carry out remedial work on existing Ansul R102 systems
• Conduct mechanical servicing of gas suppression systems as needed
• Perform accurate site surveys and record parts required for remedial works
• Escalate urgent issues before leaving site and ensure timely reporting
• Maintain excellent housekeeping, complete timesheets, and expense reports on time
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Adhere to relevant engineering standards and company practices
• Care for company tools and equipment
• Attend training to continually develop your knowledge and skills
