The Impact You'll Make As a Electrical Manager at Lam, you will operate on cutting-edge technology, harnessing atomic precision, material science, and surface engineering to push technical boundaries. Your role involves defining equipment hardware to meet processing requirements, developing new and advanced design methodogies, evaluating test data, and coordinating design requirements to ensure compatibility of processing methods. Your expertise and knowledge play a crucial role to our customers success, making an impact on the next generation of semiconductor breakthroughs. Years of Experience: Minimum 14 years of experience and up to 18 years Educational qualification: Bachelor / Master's in Electrical Engineering - post graduate degree preferred Over 8 years of experience in capital equipment or related industries such as Semiconductor, Medical Devices, Automotive, or Aerospace, including 4-6 years of proven leadership managing direct reports—Electrical Engineers, Lead Engineers, and Subject Matter Experts—across multiple programs and projects Demonstrated ability to lead decisively and solve complex problems even in the absence of complete or accurate data. Experienced in operating within a matrix organization and collaborating across cross-disciplinary teams Strong hands-on expertise in the design, control, and productization of complex equipment and machinery. Well-versed in Electrical Engineering principles, Electromechanical systems, and knowledgeable in RF systems Proven leadership in departmental planning, capability development, strategic execution, and innovation. Successfully managed teams of 10-15 Electrical Engineers, driving departmental goals, product roadmaps, performance management and development (PMD), situational leadership, and team motivation to achieve business outcomes Skilled in leading and conducting design reviews, securing stakeholder approvals, and guiding implementation.
