AiM Land Services has opportunities for permanent, full-time Surface Land Administrators to support our office in Calgary, Alberta.
As our team continues to grow, we’re looking to hire detail-oriented people who are strong in problem-solving, informed decision making, and value continuous learning and professional growth.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Surface Land Administrator, your day-to-day responsibilities may include:

  • Manage surface land agreements, including leases, licenses, permits, and rights of way
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, landowners, and government agencies to negotiate land access and usage agreements
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
  • Conduct research analysis of land titles, surveys, and legal descriptions
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records and documentation related to land agreements
  • Collaborate with internal teams, legal counsel, and external partners to resolve land-related issues
  • Monitor and track lease obligations, payments, and expirations
  • Participate in the acquisition and divestiture of land assets, conducting due diligence as needed
  • Provide guidance and support to land acquisition teams during project development
  • Stay informed about changes in legislation and industry best practices related to surface land administration
  • Prepare reports and presentations for management and regulatory authorities
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to personal and team safety by closely following company safety policies, standards, and procedures

On your resume, we are looking for the following qualifications:

  • Land Administration certificate; equivalent experience will be considered
  • 3+ year experience in a Land Administration position or related field
  • Knowledge of provincial and federal regulatory frameworks in Canada
  • Great organization and writing skills, as evidenced by your resume and cover letter
