JE Fuller is a client-focused firm of industry leading experts with exceptional qualifications and unparalleled expertise. We are seeking an intelligent Water Resources EIT to join our dynamic team.

EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate will have a civil engineering degree. A strong understanding of engineering principles, data analysis, modeling and problem solving is a must. In addition, a previous internship in the field is preferred and one year experience specifically in surface water engineering.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Proven experience in water resources engineering and hydrologic and hydraulic software models.
  • Desired software skills include HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS (1D &2D), and/or FLO-2D, GIS (QGIS, ArcMap or Arc Pro), AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office. Programming experience would be a bonus.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills with project team members and clients.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong technical writing skills.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design and implementation of water resource projects, including storm water management systems and flood control measures.
  • Conduct data collection and analysis to inform project planning and execution.
  • Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD/Civil3D, GIS, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and design purposes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to build effective solutions for water resource challenges.
  • Time and budget management while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Prepare technical reports and assist in presentation preparation.
