  JOB DESCRIPTION   Job Title:                  Surger / Manufacturing        Department:            Sewing Location:                  Plant # 5         FLSA Status:           Non-Exempt – Production Pay Schedule:                 M – Th 6:30 am – 4:00 pm & F 6:00 am – 11:00 am  We are continuing to grow and are currently hiring for multiple full-time positions offering consistent 40–45 hour workweeks, no Saturday schedules, and a comprehensive benefits package. LEE associates are offered the opportunity to learn and grow in their career.   Overview of Responsibilities * Operate a standard Surge machine and duties as assigned * Surger Sewer surges fabric parts before and after sewer * Aligning parts/fabric to ensure proper assembly and quality levels * Fixing own repairs while ensuring quality, efficiency, and production levels * Maintaining a clean/neat workstation * All other duties as assigned   Qualifications:  * Minimum 2 years of Surger Sewing experience preferred * High school diploma or GED preferred  * LEAN Manufacturing experience a plus * Basic computer knowledge * Ability to deliver uncompromising quality and detailed craftsmanship * Ability to work full-time  * Must be flexible to work overtime when required * Able to stand for 8 hours   We are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
