Description North Pittsburgh Oral Surgery is a private practice in McCandless, PA. We strive to create a professional, rewarding, engaging work environment for all employees. Our vision is to be the premier oral surgery practice in western Pennsylvania. We currently have an opportunity on our Clinical Team for a Surgical Assistant. The opening can be in any of our four offices: North Hills, Cranberry Twp, Natrona Heights or New Castle and does require travel between offices. Responsibilities: Assist surgeons during oral surgical procedures in a clinic Prepare operating rooms with necessary equipment and supplies Set up sterile fields and ensure adherence to aseptic techniques Hand instruments and supplies to surgeons during procedures Maintain accurate medical records using DSN and other electronic systems Clean and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment Assist with patient positioning and prepping for surgery Monitor patients' vital signs during procedures Provide post-operative care and instructions to patients Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
