UVS offers a competitive compensation and benefits package designed to support your success: PTO, 401k, healthcare benefits, and more Opportunities for advancement in specialty veterinary medicine Continuing education and cross training opportunities Team oriented environment with employee appreciation events and fewer ruff days with the right team What You’ll Do As a Surgical Preparation Assistant, you will play a critical role in preparing patients and maintaining surgical excellence: Safely restrain and handle patients, and obtain and document accurate medical histories Assist with diagnostic testing, treatments, and anesthetic induction Prepare, clean, and maintain operating rooms, instruments, and surgical equipment Scrub in and provide intraoperative support while maintaining strict aseptic technique Manage patient admissions and discharges, ensuring clear client communication Communicate effectively with team members and relay critical patient information Follow OSHA and hospital safety protocols and support workflow efficiency improvements Who Are We Looking For?
