Description We are looking for a new team member to join us in our Neurosurgery Office. If you are energetic, compassionate, possess a strong work ethic and are able to multi task we would like to hear from you. Our specialty is Breast Surgery. This position will include Surgery Scheduling, as well as coordinating radiology procedures Front and Back office duties, assisting with minor office procedures. EHR and surgery scheduling experience preferred. Requirements Job Status: Temporary (90 days) Full Time Job Responsibilities: · Surgery Scheduling · Answering phones · Scheduling patient appointments · Responding to patient calls (Surgery Scheduling, Lab results, medication refills, etc.) · Assisting surgeon with minor procedures in the office · Prior Authorizations (Surgery, Medication, Imaging, Workers Comp, etc.) · Computer skills – EHR knowledge, savvy in computer navigation, data entry, etc. · Vitals · Inventory exam room supplies (and verify expiration dates) Requirements Mandatory Qualifications: · Medical Assistant with Surgery Scheduling experience · Excellent customer service/personal skills · Knowledge in Medical Terminology · Strong computer skills · Excellent Verbal and Written skills · Comfort interacting with all ages of people with or without disabilities · Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications: · 1+ years of experience as a Surgery Scheduler and Medical Assistant · 1+ years of experience acquiring insurance authorizations · Bilingual (helpful) · Electronic Health Records experience (EPIC) Requirements: Medical Assistant Certificate Beneficial: Certified Medical Assistant Compensation Package At BASS Medical Group, we understand that a comprehensive, high quality, and affordable health benefits program is now more essential than ever.
