RESPONSIBILITIES Schedule patients accurately and efficiently for all surgical procedures requested by Midwest ENT physicians. Responsible for ensuring all demographic information is entered correctly at the time of scheduling and verify and obtain prior authorizations if needed. Schedule post-op appointments and provide basic patient education. Responsible for providing patients with all necessary information regarding their procedure Document scheduled surgeries in the practice management system. Maintain effective and accurate daily physician surgery schedules. Serve as a contact for Midwest ENT for hospitals, surgery centers, and physicians regarding schedules, procedures, and concerns Responsible for being up to date on all insurance requirements and following all requested guidelines. Other duties as assigned. Requirements BASIC QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent required Valid driver’s license required PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years’ experience in a specialty care setting preferred Experience with medical terminology and insurance preferred Midwest Culture Here at Midwest ENT, we are committed to respecting every person, acting with integrity, and owning our outlook.
