As a full-time surgery scheduler, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling surgical procedures for patients. You will work closely with surgeons, nurses, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that surgeries are scheduled efficiently and effectively. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Degree in Healthcare Administration or Certificate in Medical Terminology preferred. Prior work experience in a health care setting, diagnostic procedures, and health care billing and authorization. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to learn quickly and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications. Ability to maneuver through EMR systems. Strong attention to detail. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Good working ethics and ability to treat documents with confidentiality. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and also take initiatives when the need arises. Possibility of hybrid work schedule after successful completion of training period.
