Responsibilities Responsible for room turnover in the operating room; including mopping, sweeping, dusting, stocking supplies and other generalized or room preparations. Moving and cleaning of equipment. Assists in transporting patients. Helps patients and families with the hospital routine. Identifies and promotes a safe patient environment. Practices and reflects knowledge of HIPAA, TJC, DNV, OSHA and other federal/state regulatory agencies guiding healthcare. Qualifications Education: High school graduate or equivalent Experience: Environmental services training in a patient setting and/or previous healthcare setting experience preferred. License(s)/Certification(s): CPR Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to read, write and follow written and oral instruction. Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with patients and staff. Ability to set priorities and react rationally to situations in patient *Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, internal equity, and other business needs.
