Our physicians are committed to lifelong learning to deliver the most advanced treatments and procedures available. Our team needs a Clinical Medical Assistant seeking a career in dermatology. The ideal Medical Assistant candidate is positive, energetic, intelligent, highly dependable, organized, and can multitask. Our team members are responsible for assisting the Provider with patient visits, including consultations and procedures, through the following responsibilities: Responsibilities: * Prepare examination rooms, ensuring they are clean and stocked with necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies before each appointment. * Engage and focus on the patient experience. * You will be responsible for gathering patient information, informed consent, and payment information * Assist the physician with minor procedures, patient charting, uploading imaging, and patient follow-up appointment scheduling * Provide detailed post-care instructions to the patient and/or family members * Accurately complete pathology and laboratory requisitions as required * Complete logs and send specimens to the laboratory * You would be required to go to other locations throughout the week * You will perform other tasks and duties as directed * Travel is required for this position  Experience and Education: * 2 years of combined education/experience as a substitute for minimum experience * Medical Assistant (MA) Certification, CPR, and First Aid Certification are preferred * Hands-on experience in a clinical setting * Experience with EMR * Dermatology or surgical experience is preferred.
