Job Description Executes the maintenance of supplies, instruments, and equipment used in operating room. Job Responsibility * Maintains surgical implants and supply par levels; places purchase orders for required surgical implants and supplies; receives surgical supply deliveries. * Verifies accuracy of deliveries with purchase orders on file. * Transports and stores items in appropriate locations. * Enters implant tracking serial numbers into department computer system. * Assists in reviewing daily case schedule and pick lists and prepares case carts accordingly. * Enters each patient’s surgical supply profile in department computer system. * Captures and records surgical supply charges for all surgical cases. * Identifies and corrects implant and supply discrepancies, as needed. * Maintains constant communication with Purchasing, Materials Management, and related departments. * Performs related duties as required.
