Description

Description Assists surgeon during operative and invasive procedures. Ensures operating suite is adequately prepared for procedure. Monitor PAR level of all surgical instruments and supplies. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities. Requirements · Minimum High School diploma or equivalent. · Operating Room Technician Certification encouraged. · Current BCLS Certification. (every two (2) years) Minimum of one (1) year of work experience in the Operating Room. (Preferred)

Responsibilities

The Surgical Tech assists the surgeon during invasive and operative procedures and is responsible for ensuring the operating suite is properly prepared before the procedure begins. They also monitor the PAR level of all necessary surgical instruments and supplies.
