Position Summary: We are looking for a Surgical Technologist who will function as a member of the surgical team in creating and maintaining a sterile field and issuing instruments to surgeons. This is a working environment with a great group of friendly medical providers and staff.  Responsibilities:   * Functions in the scrub role by preparing, organizing, and anticipating needed instruments, supplies, and equipment for safe patient care and operative procedure * Assist in the preparation of surgery rooms * Participate in the maintenance of a clean and safe environment * Demonstrates the proper use, cleaning, processing, and storage of instruments and equipment * Assist in cleaning, restocking, and room turnover * Assists in non-surgical patient intervention under the direct supervision of a physician or RN * Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to assist with additional unit needs as necessary Qualifications:  * Certified Surgical Technologist * Full working knowledge of OR equipment & instrument sterilization * Solid knowledge & ability to operate sterilization machinery & ancillary equipment * Solid knowledge of infection control & sterilization techniques * Certification in Basic Life Support (CPR) required * Knowledge of Orthopedic Instruments preferred * Bilingual in Spanish preferred Benefits:  * Competitive salary * Opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment * Be part of a team that is passionate about making a difference Salary: * Starting compensation range $20.00-$25.00 hourly rate.
