Organization: CPMC-California Pacific Med Center Van Ness Position Overview: Assists in preparing for and during surgery by performing routine and delegated duties according to standards and policies of the department and hospital to assure quality patient care. Job Description: EDUCATION Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. HS Diploma: High School or General Education (GED) or equivalent education/experience Other: Completion of a formal accredited Operating Room Technician program CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN: Two (2) years scrubbing experience at CPMC required SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Basic knowledge of surgical procedures, equipment, and supplies. Requires communication, organization and interpersonal skills. Requires flexibility to accommodate emergencies as well as changing schedules and priorities. Pay Range is $53.30 to $63.69 / hour The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled.
