Inova Loudoun Hospital is looking for a dedicated Surgical Technologist 3 to join the OR team. Surgical Technologist 3 Job Responsibilities: * The Surgical Technologist 3 demonstrates superior knowledge of aseptic and surgical techniques in the role of the first scrub. * Anticipates variances from expected outcomes and responds to patient needs immediately. * Assists with the flow of the daily operating room schedule by readily accepting assignments/reassignments. * Demonstrates awareness of and commitment to professional and leadership responsibilities. * Reserves as a resource in at least 3 specialty areas/procedures and assumes responsibility for the management of specialty equipment and instrumentation. * May perform additional duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: * Education: High School diploma, GED or equivalent * Experience: 2 years of Surgical Technologist experience * Certification: * Basic Life Support from American Heart Association required upon start. * Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA or Tech in Surgery – Certified (TS-C) via NCCT required upon start * License: Registered Surgical Technologist in the Commonwealth of Virginia required upon start We are Inova, Northern Virginia’s leading nonprofit healthcare provider. Responsibilities

The Surgical Technologist 3 must demonstrate superior knowledge of aseptic and surgical techniques while acting as the first scrub, immediately responding to patient needs and anticipating variances from expected outcomes. This role also involves assisting with the operating room schedule flow and serving as a resource in at least three specialty areas, managing associated equipment and instrumentation.
