Heartline Staffing is seeking a Surgical Technologist II to support perioperative services in a fast-paced Operating Room environment. This role is essential in maintaining sterile technique, supporting surgical procedures, and ensuring patient safety throughout the operative process. The Surgical Technologist II collaborates closely with surgeons, registered nurses, and the surgical team to prepare the operating room, establish and maintain sterile fields, safely pass instruments, and participate in surgical counts. This position supports procedures for patients of all ages while adhering to regulatory standards, safety protocols, and professional best practices. Schedule: 12-hour shifts Day, evening, or night schedules On-call responsibilities included Typical shift hours: 6:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. Compensation: Hourly pay ranges from $23.97 to $35.96 based on experience. Sign-on bonus of $6,000 paid over a two-year period. Requirements Education: - High school graduate or equivalent - Completion of an accredited surgical technologist training program or approved military surgical technology training Licensure and Certification: - Active certification in Surgical Technology required - Ability to obtain and maintain registration with the Virginia Department of Health Professions - AHA BLS-HCP certification required Other Qualifications: - Strong knowledge of instrumentation and sterile technique - Ability to complete structured orientation and competency requirements Heartline Staffing is a Strategic Talent Partner with Purple Cow Recruiting.
