Description National Spine and Pain Centers is seeking a Per Diem Surgical Technologist to join our team of highly trained, caring professionals at our surgery center in Port St. Lucie, FL. Schedule: every Wednesday + every other Monday Hours: Dayshift, flexible hours Pain management experience highly preferred. IN THIS POSITION YOU WILL: Assist the surgeon during surgical procedures with a high degree of efficiency, anticipating the surgeon’s and patient’s needs during the case Ensure the availability of adequate supplies, equipment and instruments for scheduled cases and assist in opening cases in a sterile manner Utilize physician preference cards to set up each case; updating cards when indicated Assist with patient positioning, skin prep, and draping Ensure accurate sponge, needle, and instrument counts are completed when indicated WHAT WE OFFER: Competitive compensation, employee assistance program (services include: counseling, child care & parent coaching, elder & dependent care, financial, legal, daily living, and wellness coaching), supportive management, and a great working environment.
