Do you have a passion for precision, teamwork, and making a difference? We're looking for a talented and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team! As a Surgical Technologist at Viewmont Surgery Center, you'll be an integral part of the surgical team, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses to ensure seamless surgeries. Responsibilities: Prepare the operating room for surgery like a rockstar, setting up equipment, instruments, and supplies with precision and speed Assist surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses during procedures, maintaining a calm and focused demeanor even in high-pressure situations. Sterilize instruments and equipment with military precision, adhering to strict infection control protocols. Manage patient records and charts with ease, accurately documenting vital information and updates. Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient patient care, from pre-op to post-op. Hand instruments and supplies to surgeons and surgeons' assistants, hold retractors, and cut sutures, and perform other tasks as directed by surgeon during operation. Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and colleagues alike. Stay current with the latest techniques, technologies, and best practices in surgical technology.
