Surgical Technology Instructor - PT About The Job Fortis College - Houston South is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Surgical Technologist to join its faculty. Job Description We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our Surgical Technology program. This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Dean of Education. The primary responsibility will be to teach Surgical Technology courses. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation. Requirements * Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program resulting in an associate degree plus a bachelor degree in a related field * Certification: * NBSTSA - CST and/or * NCCT - TS-C * At least three years of experience as a Surgical Technologist * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven * Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities
