PURPOSE The Surveillance Analyst will monitor, audit and investigate to provide protection and security of the guest and team member experience at Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel. ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES Monitors all areas of the property at all times, identifying potential security and/or safety risks and reporting them to the appropriate individual or entity for proper resolution. Performs Gaming/Point of Sale Audits & Investigations uncovering performance issues and theft. Ensure quality observations and investigations in the Surveillance department on assigned shift. Maintains a working knowledge of all rules and regulations of the Gaming Commission, and ensures strict adherence to same throughout the property. Protects casino assets and gaming integrity through the consistent, thorough monitoring of all activities on property, particularly on the gaming floor. Assists with directing the flow of surveillance reports to the proper individuals per Surveillance Management, always maintaining the highest level of confidentiality. Ability to work as a team in an effort to develop fellow surveillance team members and the Surveillance department. Create daily activity reports and prepares necessary reports for management. Coordinates, with the Surveillance Management, when surveillance discovers a matter which needs further investigation or attention as appropriate. Incorporates information throughout the department, by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings. Observes, documents, videotapes and reports any unusual or suspicious activities on property. Regularly inspects the premises, identifying potential safety or security hazards, and reporting same to Surveillance Management, for proper resolution. Reviews surveillance video and reports, providing detailed information to Surveillance Management as needed. Held accountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Education and Experience: High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD). Minimum three (3) years’ of casino surveillance experience Any combination of education and experience that clearly demonstrates the ability to perform the job duties of the position. Skills and Abilities: Ability to read and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents. Ability to analyze gaming statistics and investigate discrepancies thoroughly. Ability to write effective reports. Ability to view surveillance footage and find conclusive supporting video facts. Ability to respond to inquiries from team members or guests. Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one, small group, and large group situations. Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent, and to interpret data from graphs. Ability to apply common sense reasoning to variety of situations. Full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules, policies and procedures. Must possess excellent knowledge of all table games and casino/finance related departments. Must possess excellent observational, investigative and communication skills. Must be able to detect schemes, cheating activity and advantage play. PREFERRED Education and Experience: Experience in Surveillance, Table Games, or Casino Investigative Audit. Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel exercises Snoqualmie Tribal Member/Native American preference in hiring, in compliance with the Snoqualmie Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO). You must obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Snoqualmie Gaming Commission. Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions. The use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant for positions in any department other than Transportation (Valet, Driver I). DOT panel testing is required for the Driver position.
