VRC currently has an opportunity in the Desktop Department and we are seeking to add a Surveillance Analyst to our team. The primary responsibility of this position is remote camera surveillance, report writing, and preliminary investigations to assist the day-to-day insurance fraud defense investigations and operational needs for multi-state regions. This role is for a highly motivated individual who requires little supervision for daily activities and can maintain momentum and motivation. Work involves considerable computer skills, language skills, writing capabilities, and organization. This is an hourly, non-exempted position located in our corporate office in Denton, TX and will report to the Desktop Unit Manager   The successful candidate will have related experience in one or more of the follow areas: * Public Databases * Background Investigations * Open Source Intelligence * Preparing detailed investigative reports * Criminal Justice degree or related field preferred Core Duties & Responsibilities: * Monitor and log subject activity from a remote camera operation. * Complete preliminary investigations for remote surveillance success. * Submit daily updates of subject activity. * Download videos and submit to Production for processing. * Other duties as the team expands or assigned by the leadership. * Review case notes and special handling instructions to ensure proper investigation is completed. * Communicate with management regarding investigative findings and handling of assignments. Applicants must meet the following requirements: * Be highly motivated and possess the ability to work under little supervision * Microsoft Office Knowledge (1 year or more required) * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Must pass a drug test and pre-employment testing * Have a sense of urgency, meeting client due dates and company SLA’s * Meet individual and team performance standards while maintaining good attendance and dependability * Upon hiring you must proficiently learn and utilize all electronic tools as required within the scope of this position to include the company's IMS case tracking system Benefits: VRC offers medical, dental, vision, short term & long-term disability benefits, as well as paid vacation, and a 401K/Profit Sharing retirement plan. Compensation: Accepted candidates will be paid a competitive hourly rate commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications and incentives dependent on position.
